Packaging & Footprint
Why we use high-barrier pouches
Sensitive botanical ingredients such as Ashwagandha require protection against oxygen, moisture, and light. To preserve product stability and quality throughout the full shelf life, we use high-barrier stand-up pouches.
Packaging is part of product quality. Barrier performance matters as much as ingredient sourcing.
Materials we use
- Paper / kraft outer layer for stiffness and a stable print surface.
- Multi-layer food-contact inner materials with documented barrier properties.
- No PLA and no so-called “bioplastics” that cannot be properly processed in standard recycling streams.
Recycling information
Each pouch includes clear sorting instructions and recycling symbols based on regional systems:
- BE / NL: PMD
- DE: Gelber Sack
- FR: Bac jaune
We prefer clear, realistic sorting guidance over vague sustainability claims.
Documentation & compliance
For every packaging component we maintain technical datasheets and food-contact declarations in accordance with applicable EU regulations (including EU 10/2011 where relevant).
